Humanist Ceremonies

As a registered celebrant with the Humanist Society of Scotland I am authorised to conduct legal wedding ceremonies anywhere in Scotland. And that really does mean anywhere! I’ve conducted weddings next to waterfalls, on sandy beaches and in the wilds of Glencoe as well as in country houses and chic city hotels. With a Humanist Wedding you have the freedom to have the ceremony that you want, wherever you want it.

Every Humanist wedding is unique to the couple getting married and that’s what makes them so special, and there are a wealth of different ways to make your day entirely personal to you. You can tailor your wedding vows to reflect your own personalities, use traditional Scottish symbolic gestures such as handfasting or a Quaich ceremony to seal your bond or have readings and poetry that involve close family and friends. And that’s another important part of Humanist Ceremonies; the couple getting married are the stars of the day but your guests are your supporting cast and you want them to know how much it means to you to be sharing this special day with them.

I conduct weddings, vow renewals and funeral across the central belt of Scotland. If you’d like to get in touch to discuss a ceremony please do drop me a line or call. I’d be delighted to hear from you !
