Your wedding day should be one of the happiest and most memorable days of your life and as your wedding celebrant it’s my job to ensure that your wedding ceremony is exactly how you want it to be; whether that’s very traditional, informal and relaxed, or totally unconventional!

How it all works: The first step is to have a meeting/phone call/Skype to have an informal chat. This allows you to start to work out what kind of feel and tone you want for your wedding.  I believe it’s very important for the couple marrying to feel totally comfortable that they have found the right celebrant for them so this chat is without any obligation to chose me !

Once you are happy that I am the right celebrant for you then I send you out a welcome pack that explains everything from the legal process to examples of the vows you can exchange. The next step is another meeting about 3 or 4 months before the wedding date where I gather all of the information I need to write an initial draft script which will be sent to you about 4-6 weeks before the wedding day for your approval and any changes you would like will be made.  If you live far away or outside the UK then it’s very easy to have these chats via Skype or Facetime. Ideally your script will be finalised a couple of weeks before the wedding but if you need to make any last minute changes that’s fine !

Once that is done all you need to do is to get on your glad rags and enjoy the day !

Whether you want to get married in a Scottish Castle with all the trimmings, decorate a local hall in your own style, or stand out in a field in your wellies, every wedding is unique and that is what makes them so special.
